Job summary

Brenwood Park Assisted Living is seeking an energetic Activities Supervisor to plan, implement, and oversee a dynamic activities program that enhances residents’ quality of life. You will work with residents, families, staff, and partners to create a calendar of events supporting independence and engagement.

The role emphasizes resident-centered care, strong communication, and leadership in a collaborative environment, with a benefits package including Medical, Dental, Vision, 401(k) and PTO.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Recreation Therapy, Human Services, or related field preferred.
• Two years of experience in activities programming, recreation, senior living, healthcare, or related field preferred.
• Previous supervisory or leadership experience preferred.
• Experience coordinating activities, events, volunteers, and community partnerships preferred.
• Current CPR certification preferred.
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record.
• Required CBRF Certifications: Standard Precautions First Aid & Choking Fire Safety.
• Strong commitment to resident engagement, safety, and quality of life.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the activities program promotes independence, fulfillment, and a sense of accomplishment for residents.
• Develop and maintain a creative daily and monthly activities calendar that accommodates all levels of care and encourages participation.
• Seek resident feedback and incorporate suggestions into future programming.
• Establish and maintain community partnerships to expand recreational, educational, and social opportunities for residents.
• Coordinate volunteer opportunities and community involvement activities.
• Ensure activity supplies and materials are ordered, organized, and readily available.
• Transport residents to community outings and events as needed.
• Supervise and support activities staff and volunteers while fostering a positive and engaging environment.
