Brenwood Park Assisted Living is seeking an energetic Activities Supervisor to lead a vibrant activities program for residents, families, and the community. You will develop daily and monthly calendars, coordinate volunteers, and foster engagement while promoting independence and well-being.

Responsibilities

• Plan, implement, and oversee a dynamic activities program for residents.
• Develop daily and monthly calendars accommodating all care levels.
• Incorporate resident feedback into programming.
• Establish community partnerships for expanded opportunities.

• Ensure supplies are ordered, organized, and available.

About the Opportunity

The Activities Supervisor plans, implements, and oversees a dynamic activities program that enhances the quality of life for our residents. Working collaboratively with residents, team members, families, and community partners, this role develops a well-rounded daily and monthly calendar of events that supports resident independence, engagement, individuality, and overall well-being. Essential Responsibilities

• Ensure the activities program promotes independence, fulfillment, and a sense of accomplishment for residents.
• Develop and maintain a creative daily and monthly activities calendar that accommodates all levels of care and encourages participation.
• Seek resident feedback and incorporate suggestions into future programming.
• Establish and maintain community partnerships to expand recreational, educational, and social opportunities for residents.
• Coordinate volunteer opportunities and community involvement activities.
• Ensure activity supplies and materials are ordered, organized, and readily available.
• Transport residents to community outings and events as needed.
• Supervise and support activities staff and volunteers while fostering a positive and engaging environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Recreation Therapy, Human Services, or a related field preferred.
• Two (2) years of experience in activities programming, recreation, senior living, healthcare, or a related field preferred.
• Previous supervisory or leadership experience preferred.
• Experience coordinating activities, events, volunteers, and community partnerships preferred.
• Current CPR certification preferred.
• Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record required.
• Required CBRF Certifications: Standard Precautions First Aid & Choking Fire Safety Strong commitment to resident engagement, safety, and quality of life.
