MERS Goodwill is hiring a Retail Cashier for our Eureka Store. The role focuses on greeting customers, processing transactions, maintaining floor stock, and upholding store standards. The position offers an hourly wage with potential monthly bonus and a supportive mission-driven environment.

Qualifications

• No degree is required; High School Diploma/GED preferred.
• Ability to communicate effectively with coworkers, customers, and management.
• Must be organized and able to interact with a diverse workforce.
• Math skills include addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.

Responsabilités

• Greet customers and assist on the sales floor and answer the phone within three rings with a professional greeting.
• Operate the store cash register; handle cash, credit card transactions, returns, and balance the till.
• Stock and maintain cleanliness of the store area; rotate stock as needed.
• Request assistance from managers for returns, exchanges, and customer complaints.
• Maintain store cleanliness and safety; ensure walkways are debris-free.
• Build positive relationships with team members and leadership; collaborate cross-functionally.
• Adhere to safe work practices and protect agency assets from harm, theft, or loss.
• Follow all policies and procedures and perform other duties as assigned.
