LexLive in Lexington is hiring enthusiastic hourly staff for Line Cooks and Prep Cooks. We seek energetic, responsible individuals who can deliver high-quality plates and maintain cleanliness.

Availability on nights, weekends and holidays is expected due to our busy entertainment venue. Ideal applicants have a positive attitude, good communication, and the ability to work well with a team while following health and safety guidelines.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years old for Cooks.
• Previous Cook experience is preferred.
• Positive attitude and ability to work well with other team members.
• Ability to stay calm and make good decisions under pressure.
• Able to perform high-quality work while unsupervised.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Strong task and time management abilities.
• Ability to stand, walk, lift, twist and bend for long periods with reasonable accommodations.
• Physical ability to perform cleaning tasks and lift up to 50lbs with accommodations.

Responsibilities

• Produce delicious food and great looking plates to enhance the guest experience.
• Be a team player and assist when needed throughout the location.
• Maintain the highest level of cleanliness in your assigned work areas throughout shift.
• Maintain professional and appropriate behavior.
• Adhere to health and safety guidelines at all times.
• Maintain personal and professional cleanliness and hygiene.
• Ensure equipment and fixtures are in complete working order and report issues.
• Be aware of surroundings and report safety concerns to management.
• Complete all assigned work in a timely manner, including daily and weekly cleaning tasks.
• Abide by health guidelines to ensure safety of yourself, the public, and LexLive team.
