Job summary

Giants Ridge, managed by Guest Services, is seeking a team-oriented Cook to assist the Chef or General Manager by preparing, cooking, and serving food in a fast-paced kitchen.

The position offers seasonal as well as long-term opportunities with flexible scheduling. Applicants with culinary knowledge, food safety certification, and strong sanitation habits are encouraged to apply, with competitive pay based on experience ($15.00–$20.00 per hour).

Qualifications

• Partial high school education is required, high school diploma/G.E.D. preferred.
• Culinary knowledge is essential to perform duties.
• Food safety certification and strong sanitation habits are required.
• Strong customer service abilities and willingness to assist customers and coworkers.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook food items according to recipes, menus, and supervisor instructions.
• Clean and inspect kitchen equipment and work areas to ensure cleanliness and safety.
• Operate food station including checklist, temperature log, and signage.
• Requisition food supplies and equipment based on future needs.
