Qualifications

• Prepare and cook food items according to recipes, daily menus, and supervisor instructions.
• Clean and inspect kitchen equipment, appliances, and work areas to ensure cleanliness and safe operation.
• Operate food station, perform station checklist, temperature log, and signage.
• Requisition food supplies and equipment based on estimates of future needs.
• Monitor menus and spending to ensure meals are prepared economically.
• Maintain awareness of safety issues and report them to your manager.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Chef or General Manager by preparing and cooking menu items.
• Keep the kitchen clean, organized, and compliant with health standards.
• Operate assigned cooking stations and monitor food temperatures.
• Communicate issues to management and suggest improvements.
