Job summary

KidStrong is seeking a part-time Coach to support camps during school breaks (Winter, Spring, Summer). The role offers flexible scheduling and pays $18–$22/hr based on experience and certification.

You will deliver a science-based curriculum for kids crawling through age 11, helping develop brain, body, and character. Must have 20+ hours weekly availability, including evenings/weekends; CPR/AED certification is preferred or obtainable before first class.

Qualifications

• Must have a genuine passion for working with kids.
• Strong energy and the ability to hold a room of kids and parents.
• Positive, motivating communication style with kids and caregivers.
• Minimum 20 hours/week availability including evenings and weekends.
• CPR/AED certified or willing to obtain before first class.
• Physically active and able to move equipment up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Deliver KidStrong curriculum to kids ages crawling–11 in engaging 45‑minute classes (up to 24 hours/week).
• Develop Brain, Physical, and Character in every session—beyond just athletic skills.
• Demonstrate movements, support proper technique, and keep kids safe and progressing.
• Build authentic relationships by mentoring kids and families before, during, and after class.
• Guide parents through the class flow as they are part of the experience too.
• Explain the why behind our curriculum clearly and confidently.
