Job summary

DoubleTree by Hilton Minneapolis Downtown is seeking a bartender to provide friendly, energetic beverage service at the hotel bar. You will greet guests, present menu options, stock and manage bar inventory, and ensure cleanliness and safety throughout shifts.

The role emphasizes guest satisfaction, teamwork, and adherence to service standards. Flexibility with schedule including nights and weekends is required in a hospitality setting.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and describe food and beverage options clearly.
• Maintain proper bar setup and organization.
• Stock bar supplies and fresh garnishes; manage perishables.
• Mix and present drinks with standard recipes and portion control.
• Attend monthly department meetings and handle POS transactions.
• Balance cash, verify charges, and secure cash drops at end of shift.
• Ensure bar and surrounding areas are clean and safe.
