Job summary

Western Racquet & Fitness Club in Wisconsin is seeking a dynamic Group Exercise Instructor to lead engaging classes for our members. The ideal candidate will motivate participants, maintain safety, and stay current with fitness trends while delivering a variety of formats such as Barre, Boxing, Strength, TRX, and Yoga.

Certifications (ACE/AFAA/NASM) and CPR/AED are required, along with excellent communication and reliability; previous experience teaching group classes is preferred.

Qualifications

• Certified Group Exercise Instructor through ACE/AFAA/NASM.
• CPR/AED certification.
• Previous experience teaching Group Exercise Classes.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to motivate participants of all fitness levels.
• Reliable, punctual, and professional.

Responsibilities

• Plan and lead Group Exercise Classes such as Barre, Boxing, Strength, Shred, TRX, Yoga.
• Ensure the safety of all participants by providing proper instruction and modifying exercises as needed.
• Maintain a positive and motivating atmosphere during classes.
• Keep up-to-date with current fitness trends and continuously improve class offerings.
• Assist in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the fitness area. Provide excellent customer service and build relationships with class participants.
• Attend staff meetings and training sessions as required.
