Job summary

Fresh Thyme Market is seeking a Cashier to efficiently process customer sales at the front registers and deliver excellent service in a fast-paced natural foods retail environment. You will handle cash, checks, cards, and gift options while maintaining a friendly demeanor.

Responsibilities include scanning items, applying discounts, greeting customers, and ensuring accurate transactions. Prior experience in grocery front-end is a plus, with weekly pay and scheduling flexibility offered.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalency.
• 1–2 years grocery retail experience in Front End department.
• Experience in a natural foods industry is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Process customer transactions at front registers efficiently.
• Maintain accurate cash handling, ensure customer satisfaction, and safeguard company assets.
• Assist customers as needed and maintain a friendly, energetic demeanor.
• Walk the store prior to each shift to be aware of promotions and stock status.
• Operate cash register, scan items, and provide receipts and change as needed.
