Job summary

Petco is seeking a Warehouse Associate in California to pull and pack merchandise, operate pallet jacks and voice picking, and support store restock. This role requires lifting up to 50 pounds and standing for extended periods.

Shifts: 1st Shift, 4:00am–12:30pm. Pay: $21.00 per hour. Benefits include health, dental, vision, 401K, store discount, PTO, and a bilingual, inclusive environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Basic math proficiency.
• Ability to lift and move merchandise up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Place and pull merchandise weighing up to 50 pounds using RF device or voice system to scan/record within storage or pick modules.
• Receive, pick, package, load and move merchandise for shipment using pallet jacks or powered equipment.
• Perform inventory counts and compare to records.
• Unload shipments and load trucks using powered equipment.
• Stage merchandise to maintain inventory levels.
• Package merchandise with correct labels.
• Move bulky items to and from storage.
