Petco is hiring a warehouse associate in California to pull and package merchandise for shipment. You will operate pallet jacks and participate in voice picking, handling items up to 50 pounds.

Operating electric pallet jack. Voice picking (Vocollect) up to 50lbs., picking and carrying large bags of dog food/ or can food.

Pulls merchandise from storage locations. Receives, picks, packages, loads and moves merchandise for shipment. Operates powered material handling equipment (e.g., pallet jacks, standup lifts and turret trucks), and handles non-conveyable items (i.e., bulky items).

Principle Duties and Responsibilities:

• Repetitively places and pulls merchandise weighing up to 50 pounds to and from storage locations, using a hand-held radio frequency device and/or voice recognition system to scan and/or record selected merchandise from storage locations or within a computer operated pick-module or carousel
• Receives, picks, packages, loads and moves merchandise weighing up to 50 pounds for shipment, either in boxes or on pallets using powered or manual pallet jacks, or other powered material
