Job summary

You will promote a fun atmosphere, assist with event setup and service, handle cash or POS transactions where needed, and work as part of a team across multiple shifts, including weekends and holidays. This role requires 21+ years, a positive appearance, and the ability to follow directions.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 or older.
• Outgoing, energetic attitude.

• Able to follow instructions from Supervisor/Manager.
• Must qualify for licensing by Ohio Lottery Commission.
• Must be able to work as a team.
• Able to tolerate a high stimulus environment.

• Pass a background check.
• Open availability including all shifts, weekends and holidays.
• Professional appearance standards as prescribed by company policy.
• Comfortable learning new software.

Responsibilities

• Foster a fun environment for guests and coworkers.
• Be a gracious host to guests and coworkers.
• Promote a positive community presence and participate in events.
• Ensure interactions align with ACES Service Program guidelines.
• Monitor guest alcohol consumption and intervene as needed per policy.
• Promote gaming events and promotions.
• Handle cash and credit card transactions with proper controls.
• Keep work area clean and stocked.
• Follow state, company, and department policies.
• Set up, break down, and clean banquet areas for events.
• Explain menus and drinks to guests.
• Direct guests to areas and explain event details.
• Attend to guests’ needs and execute service sequence.
• Maintain buffets and coordinate with kitchen staff.
• Transport service items to event spaces.
• Perform duties safely and report hazards.
• Will work special events as needed.
