Job summary

Mad Science of Western New England and Imagine Arts Academy seeks energetic, reliable part-time after-school instructors to lead science and art programs in Western/Central MA and Northern CT. No teaching certification required; degrees not mandatory. We provide training and all materials.

You will teach in a dynamic, hands-on format, engaging children aged 5–11 with experiments and creative activities, year-round across multiple locations.

Qualifications

• Some experience working with groups of elementary age children.
• Available at least 2-3 weekdays after 2 pm and willing to travel to multiple locations.
• Must have a reliable car and driver's license.
• Background checks required.

Responsibilities

• Facilitating a one-hour after-school enrichment program using a pre-set curriculum (approximately two hours on site).
• Session is high-energy, part entertainment, part education, part creativity.
• Possibility to facilitate birthday parties, stage shows or other events.
