Job summary

Mad Science and Imagine Arts Academy is seeking energetic part-time instructors to lead after-school science and art programs in Western/Central Massachusetts and Northern Connecticut. Training is provided; no teaching certification required.

You will engage young learners in hands-on activities, manage lively sessions, and may have opportunities to run parties or outreach events. Travel to multiple locations is expected.

Qualifications

• Experience with groups of elementary-aged children (5–11) or similar roles.
• Available 2–3 weekdays after 2 pm; travel to multiple locations.
• Must have a reliable car and a driver's license.
• Subject to criminal background checks.
• Extra availability Fri/Sat for meetings.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate a one-hour after-school enrichment program using a pre-set curriculum (on-site ~2 hours).
• Possible additional duties: birthday parties, stage shows or other events.

Education

Some college experience preferred
