Job summary

Ampcus Inc. in Dallas, TX is seeking an Endpoint specialist to join a 12-month engagement on site. This mid- to senior-level role supports endpoint security, IR, SOC concepts and automation/SOAR or SIEM experience.

The position is 5 days onsite with the potential for full-time conversion. Strong scripting skills, Python is highly desired, and prior SIEM/SOC exposure is preferred.

Qualifications

• Endpoint and incident response (IR) experience required.
• Industry security knowledge at a mid-level.
• Scripting required, preferably in QL languages.
• Python highly desired.
• SOC/IR understanding; direct experience preferred.
• Additional: automation concepts and SOAR operations knowledge or SIEM experience.

Location: Dallas, TX- 75211

Schedule: 5 Days onsite

Duration: 12 months with possibility of Full Time

This role will serve as an Endpoint specialist, complementing a Sr. EEC already on the account. This can be a mid- or senior-level position.

• Endpoint & IR: Must have specific work experience and knowledge.
• Industry Security Knowledge: Mid-level.
• Scripting: Required, preferably in *QL languages.
• Python: Highly desired.
• SOC/IR: Must have a functional understanding; direct experience is highly preferred.

Additional Requirement: At least one of the following is required:

• Strong understanding of automation concepts and SOAR operations.
• Understanding of and experience with SIEM.
