Job summary

Ampcus Inc is seeking an Endpoint specialist to join our security operations team in Dallas, on-site five days a week. This mid- to senior-level role will support IR and SOC activities and coordinate with the Sr. EEC on the account.

Candidates should bring hands-on experience with endpoint security, incident response, scripting (preferrably in QL languages), and familiarity with SIEM and SOAR concepts; Python is highly desired.

Qualifications

• Endpoint & IR experience required.
• Mid-level Industry Security knowledge.
• Scripting required; familiarity with QL languages.
• Python highly desired.
• SOC/IR understanding beneficial.
• Automation concepts and SOAR/SIEM familiarity preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as Endpoint specialist, supporting IR and SOC activities.
• Collaborate with Sr. EEC and account teams on security incidents.
• Apply automation concepts and SOAR workflows to streamline operations.
• Utilize SIEM knowledge to detect, analyze and respond to threats.

Location: Dallas, TX- 75211

Schedule: 5 Days onsite

Duration: 12 months with possibility of Full Time

This role will serve as an Endpoint specialist, complementing a Sr. EEC already on the account. This can be a mid- or senior-level position.

• Endpoint & IR: Must have specific work experience and knowledge.
• Industry Security Knowledge: Mid-level.
• Scripting: Required, preferably in *QL languages.
• Python: Highly desired.
• SOC/IR: Must have a functional understanding; direct experience is highly preferred.

Additional Requirement: At least one of the following is required:

• Strong understanding of automation concepts and SOAR operations.
• Understanding of and experience with SIEM.
