Job Summary
The Endpoint Services Analyst I supports the university's endpointenvironment by deploying and maintaining software, applyingconfiguration policies, and assisting with modern device managementsolutions. The role helps manage Windows, macOS, and mobile devicesthrough centralized MDM/UEM platforms, supports automatedprovisioning and update workflows, monitors device compliance andsecurity posture, and provides technical assistance for escalatedendpoint issues. This position contributes to ongoing modernizationefforts that improve reliability, security, and user experienceacross the university's computing environment.

Job Description
Typical duties include but are not limited to:
- Supports the configuration, deployment, and day-to-dayoperation of enterprise endpoint management tools (MDM/UEM) usedfor managing Windows, macOS, and mobile devices
- Assists with device provisioning workflows including modernprovisioning methods (e.g., automated enrollment, Autopilot-styleonboarding, or similar tools).
- Implements and maintains endpoint security and configurationpolicies as directed by senior engineers or the Endpoint DeploymentManager.
- Performs software deployments, updates, and applicationpackaging tasks using centralized
- Monitors endpoint compliance, health, and update status,escalating issues as needed.
- Assists with documenting procedures, configuration standards,and troubleshooting steps to support consistent operations.
- Coordinates basic testing of application deployments andendpoint changes with functional and academic departments.
- Provides escalation support for endpoint-related issuesescalated from IT User Support Specialists.
- Maintains accurate inventory records for endpoints,peripherals, and assigned software licenses.
- Tracks work in the IT ticketing system, ensuring timely updatesand clear communication with end users.
- Participates in routine review and improvement of endpointprocesses, recommending enhancements when appropriate.
- Supports cross-training efforts within the Endpoint DeploymentTeam and collaborates with other ITS staff as needed.

Required Qualifications:
- This position requires either four years of directly relatedfull-time experience or, as an alternative, a Bachelor's degreefrom an accredited institution in Computer Science or relatedfield.

- Any appropriate combination of relevant education, experience,and/or certifications may be considered.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience using enterprise endpoint management systems such asIntune, SCCM, Jamf, or similar MDM/UEM tools to deploy software,apply configuration and security policies, manage updates, andmaintain device compliance.
- Experience with PowerShell or similar scripting tools to assistwith automation, troubleshooting, and configuration management
- Experience with server system products involving a variety ofsoftware and hardware implementations.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- Proven ability to think strategically and approach challengeswith creativity
- Demonstrated track record of reliability, meeting goals, andholding oneself accountable
- Strong interpersonal skills and experience working effectivelyacross teams
- Knowledge of basic networking concepts (e.g. Systems,Protocols, Directory Services).
- Knowledge and proficiency with relevant business systems,operating systems, and servers.
- Knowledge of and ability to administer cloud based applications(Saas).
- Skill in light programming, project management of smallinitiatives, and troubleshooting.
- Skill in managing servers and storage hardware.
- Skill in using logic and reasoning to identify the strengthsand weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions, or approachsto problems.
- Advanced verbal and written communication skills and theability to present effectively to small and large groups.
- Ability to collaborate and work effectively within thecommunity and willing to contribute to a team effort.
- Ability to work independently and follow through onassignments.
