Job summary

Amazon is seeking a System Development Engineer for the Customer Service Security team in Seattle. You will build, test, and deploy security solutions across devices and cloud-scale data processing, collaborating with teams to raise the security bar and enable innovative customer experiences.

You will lead a two-pizza team, plan investments, and coordinate with cross-functional teams to secure Customer Service endpoints, while balancing security with usability across systems.

Qualifications

• Experience in automating, deploying, and supporting infrastructure.
• Experience programming with at least one modern language such as Python, Ruby, Golang, Java, C++, C#, Rust
• Experience with Linux/Unix

Responsibilities

• Independently manage a two-pizza team of engineers and foster innovation and inclusivity.
• Define strategic investments to deliver more value to customers.
• Involve in three-year and annual planning and business updates.
• Interact with SDMs, data professionals, and product/program teams to secure Customer Service endpoints.
• Engage with leadership to discuss priorities and progress.
