You will engineer and manage security controls for PCs, Macs, and mobile devices while collaborating with the IT Support team to keep academics productive.

The role requires 3–5 years in IT security or administration, knowledge of Windows/macOS/iOS/Android security, and scripting for automation.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• CompTIA Security+, CySA+, or related cybersecurity cert; within 6 months if not possessed.
• 3–5 years of IT support or systems administration with a focus on endpoint security.
• Act 153 Clearances required (PA background, FBI fingerprinting).
• Strong knowledge of Windows, macOS, iOS, and Android security architectures.
• Experience with UEM/MDM platforms like Jamf, SCCM, WSUS.
• Proficient scripting for automation (PowerShell or Python).
• Ability to create clear technical documentation for technical and non-technical audiences.

Responsibilities

• Administer and optimize Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR) and NGAV across college devices.
• Implement secure baselines (CIS) for workstations and mobile devices using UEM tools.
• Maintain standardized workstation configurations for classrooms and admin areas.
• Identify, prioritize, and automate remediation of vulnerabilities and patching.
• Promote secure workflows such as authenticated release printing.
• Provide high‑level support for college printing environments and manage drivers.
• Secure the print infrastructure; encrypt print traffic campus‑wide.
• Serve as primary security escalation point for IT Support desk.
• Develop scripts to automate security audits and agent deployment.
• Monitor endpoint compliance with FERPA/GLBA and security policies.
• Maintain and update the operational manual.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
