Job summary

The New Jewish Home Information Technology department seeks a full-time Technical Operations Specialist in New York to maintain and support the organization’s endpoint computing environment. You will install, configure, image, patch, and troubleshoot desktops, laptops, tablets, and related devices, while handling Active Directory and Group Policy tasks and coordinating with IT teams.

You will apply operating-system and third-party patches, monitor device status, and drive endpoint-related IT

Qualifications

• Experience configuring and deploying endpoint devices like desktops, laptops, and tablets.
• Strong knowledge of Active Directory tasks and security-group management.
• Familiarity with endpoint-management platforms and patching processes.
• Understanding of cybersecurity, privacy, and change-control basics.

Responsibilities

• Configures, images, deploys, replaces, and supports endpoint equipment.
• Creates, maintains, tests, and deploys standardized endpoint images using imaging tools.
• Uses endpoint-management platforms to deploy software and monitor device status.
• Performs Active Directory tasks and manages user/computer objects and access.
• Troubleshoots endpoint hardware, OS, applications, printing, and connectivity issues.
• Responds to support tickets and documents troubleshooting steps and resolutions.
• Maintains endpoint inventory records and prepares management reports.
• Coordinates technical activities with Service Desk, Infrastructure, Applications, and Security teams.
• Follows HIPAA, cybersecurity, and change-control procedures.
