Corvallis, Oregon-based faculty will lead field‑based interdisciplinary research and contribute to teaching and service. Successful candidates will integrate geological and geophysical data with analytical and computational methods to study crustal deformation and earthquake cycles,

Qualifications

  • Doctoral degree in Geology or a cognate field.

  • Potential or record of mentoring undergraduate and graduate students.

  • Proficiency in oral and written English.

Responsibilities

  • 50% – Teaching undergraduate and graduate courses in geology and/or marine geology, and other specialty courses as needed.
  • 40% – Research and scholarship, including independent scientific research, grant development, and publication.
  • 10% – Service to the College, university, and professional community.
