Job summary

BD (Becton, Dickinson and Company) in Puerto Rico is seeking a Clinical Specialist to promote BDPI products through clinical support and education within a defined geographic area as directed by the Regional Manager. You will educate physicians and hospital staff on BDPI products, establish relationships with hospitals and physicians, and support endovascular procedures as needed.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in a clinical field as listed.
• 3–5 years' OR/IR/Cath Lab experience.
• Current credentialing or certification in the clinical discipline.
• Advanced knowledge of vascular access and endovascular medicine preferred.
• Frequent travel required.
• Strong time management and the ability to work with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Educate and train physicians and hospital staff on BDPI products through case support and in-servicing.
• Establish and maintain relationships with hospitals and physicians; obtain new users and applications.
• Observe and report market trends affecting BDPI sales and product development.
• Represent BDPI in accordance with policies and procedures.
• Process customer complaints and returns per established procedures.
• Maintain company automobile and property.
• Complete BDPI reports including procedural, expense, product tracking, and complaints reports.
• Fill the duties of Territory Manager in vacant areas and support endovascular procedures as directed.
