Qualifications

• BSN required; MSN preferred.
• Current Faulkner endoscopy triage experience of at least one year required.
• 2-3 years in Endoscopy/Gastroenterology Nursing preferred.
• Current RN License in Massachusetts.
• ACLS certification required.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Participate in oversight and operation of the patient care area.
• Ensure quality patient care for adolescents, adults, and geriatrics.
• Collaborate with Nursing, Administrative, and Provider leadership.
• Drive the development and use of evidence-based practice.
• Foster collaboration among health care team members.
• Support and facilitate patient/family age-appropriate education.
• Evaluate documentation and follow up with staff.
• Identify trends and competency needs of staff.
• Participate in development and implementation of the QI plan.
• Act as a clinical resource to staff.
