Job summary

Brown University Health is seeking an Endoscopy Technician to assist with endoscopy procedures, patient care, and instrument processing in the Attleboro Endoscopy suite. The role requires maintaining high standards of disinfection, instrument sterilization, and documentation while supporting a fast-paced perioperative environment.

Responsibilities include assisting physicians, cleaning and sterilizing equipment, logging maintenance, and ensuring safety and quality in endoscopy and operating room

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; CRCST preferred; BLS required.
• Minimum 1–5 years of experience in endoscopy or related setting preferred.
• Knowledge of aseptic technique, infection control, sterilization equipment and processes.
• Ability to assist physicians during endoscopic procedures and handle instruments safely.
• Strong communication and organizational skills for document logs and equipment tracking.

Responsibilities

• Assists physician with endoscopy procedures.
• Performs high-level disinfection of endoscopes.
• Sterilizes and reprocesses instrumentation per manufacturer guidelines.
• Maintains IFUs and logs for sterilization and equipment repair.
• Transports and positions patients as needed.
• Performs pre- and post-procedure cleaning of the endoscopy suite.
