Brown University Health is seeking an Endoscopy Technician to assist with endoscopy procedures, patient care, and instrument processing in the Attleboro Endoscopy suite. The role requires maintaining high standards of disinfection, instrument sterilization, and documentation while supporting a fast-paced perioperative environment.
Responsibilities include assisting physicians, cleaning and sterilizing equipment, logging maintenance, and ensuring safety and quality in endoscopy and operating room
Under the direction of the RN, the endoscopy technician is responsible for assisting with the care and safety of the patient in the endoscopy suite. Other duties include assisting physician with endoscopy procedure and processing of endoscopy equipment. The endoscopy technician is responsible for performing a range of support activities that contribute to the overall efficiency of the perioperative, endoscopy and CSD areas. Work involves inventorying, disassembling, cleaning, high level disinfection, sterilization, reassembling, and maintaining operating room and endoscopy instrumentation/equipment. The endoscopy technician performs in between case cleaning and terminal cleaning. High School Diploma or GED CRCST preferred, BLS required
