Job summary

Providence Swedish seeks an Endoscopy Technician to schedule procedures, enter pH data, and assist in the procedure room. The role includes cleaning and disinfecting scopes, preparing equipment for sterilization, and tracking repairs, while supporting infection control and QA duties.

The candidate will join a team committed to patient-focused, whole-person care across Swedish campuses, with weekend and weeknight call coverage as needed.

Qualifications

• Completion of a Surgical Technology or related program.
• Certification requirements within hire period (MA/NA/tech).
• Basic infection control knowledge and PPE usage.
• Experience with schedules and pH data entry is helpful.
• Ability to read/understand English; basic math and units.

Responsibilities

• Schedule procedures and perform data entry for pH studies.
• Assist in the procedure room and support nursing staff.
• Clean, disinfect, and handle endoscopes and accessories.
• Maintain disinfection logs and procedure room supplies.
• Monitor equipment malfunctions and take corrective action.
