Qualifications

• Must have a solid working knowledge of medical terminology.
• Current BLS certification required.
• Experience with endoscopy procedures and instrument management.
• CER certification preferred; CER/IAHCSMM by end of 2024 required for staff.

Responsibilities

• Prepare the endoscopy suite according to age and physician preference.
• Assist with endoscopy and minor surgery procedures.
• Maintain aseptic technique and endoscope reprocessing per standards.
