Job summary

Gulf Coast Endoscopy Center of Venice, part of United Surgical Partners International, seeks a Per Diem Endoscopy Technician to support the endoscopy team. The role focuses on assisting during procedures, preparing sterile setups, and patient handling on weekdays with no holidays or weekend shifts.

Responsibilities include supply management, room cleanup, and ensuring patient readiness; reporting to the Charge Nurse and ASC Director. Training and certification in endoscopy are preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 2+ years' experience in an established endoscopy center.
• Working knowledge of standard gastroenterology procedures.
• Certified Medical Assistant or Endoscopy tech certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist endoscopy team during procedures and prepare/inventory sterile setup.
• Prepare and move patients; assist in cleaning the endoscopy room.
• Maintain inventory and central distribution of supplies; report to Charge Nurse and ASC Director.
