Job summary

USPI Gulf Coast Endoscopy Center of Venice is seeking a Per Diem Endoscopy Technician to join our outpatient gastroenterology team. The role supports the endoscopy unit, handling sterile setups, passing instruments, preparing patients, and maintaining room readiness under RN direction.

Position requires weekdays only with no holidays, weekends, or on-call. Early mornings or later evenings may occur; vaccination policy applies.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in an established endoscopy center.
• Must have working knowledge of standard Gastroenterology procedures.
• Certified MA or Endo tech preferred or required.

Responsibilities

• Arrange and inventory sterile set-up for procedures.
• Pass items to the endoscopy team during procedures.
• Assist in preparing and moving patients and in cleaning the endoscopy room.
• Provide care to meet patient outcomes as directed by the RN.
• Store prepared articles and supplies in designated areas.
• Maintain and track inventory according to facility procedures.

PRN Endoscopy Technician at Gulf Coast Endoscopy Center of Venice

USPI Gulf Coast Endoscopy Center of Venice is seeking a motivated Endoscopy Tech to join our team. We perform outpatient surgical procedures in Gastroenterology. Position requires weekdays only -- no holidays, weekends, or call. Some early mornings and later evenings may be required; schedule subject to change based on surgical schedule and flow of the day.

Job Summary:

The Endo Tech assists endoscopy team during endoscopy procedures. They arrange and inventory sterile set-up for operation and passes items as needed to the endoscopy team. Assists in preparing and moving patients, and in cleaning the endoscopy room. The Endo Tech is responsible for the provision of care to meet identified patient outcomes and to achieve the goals of the facility as directed by the Registered Nurse. Provides a centralized distribution and control of supplies and equipment to the facility. The tech also stores prepared articles and supplies in designated areas. Maintains and tracks inventory according to facility procedures. This position reports to the Charge Nurse and ASC Director.

Education:

• High School Diploma/GED
• 2+ years' experience in established endoscopy center
• Must have working knowledge of standard Gastroenterology procedures.
• Certified MA or Endo tech
