Job summary

West Florida Surgical Suites is seeking a GI Technician for per diem/PRN coverage. You will assist physicians, set up GI/endoscopy procedures, and provide safe patient care under supervision.

The role requires prior GI tech experience in an ASC or hospital setting, and readiness to respond in emergencies. CPR certification is required or obtainable prior to hire, and candidates should be dedicated to ongoing skill development and patient-centered care with a developmental perspective across age

Qualifications

• GI/Endoscopy experience preferred in ASC or hospital setting.
• Current CPR certification or ability to obtain prior to hire.
• Commitment to patient safety and learning.

Responsibilities

• Delivers safe patient care under RN supervision.
• Assists physician with GI/endoscopy procedures.
• Anticipates physicians' needs during procedures.
• Reports patient outcomes to the RN promptly.
• Responds to emergencies and participates in CPR as appropriate.
• Maintains knowledge of safety and device use for GI procedures.
• Addresses learning needs of patients and families.
