Job summary

The Elliot Health System is seeking an Endoscopy Support Technician to work at the Elliot 1 Day Surgery Center in Manchester, NH. You will assist the endoscopist during diagnostic and therapeutic procedures and help ensure safe, efficient patient throughput.

Responsibilities include cleaning and preparing rooms, turnover, and maintaining supplies and equipment for endoscopy. NH Medical Technician Certification is required, with BLS preferred at hire or within 30 days.

Qualifications

• Requires High school diploma or equivalent.
• Medical Technician Certification from the State of New Hampshire is required, unless other NH license is held.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred at time of hire; or completed within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Assist endoscopist during diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopy procedures.
• Support turnover of procedure rooms and recovery areas.
• Maintain supplies and equipment in procedure rooms and prep areas.
• Clean and disinfect endoscopes and equipment per manufacturer and regulatory guidelines.
• Document processing and storage of supplies and monitor shelf-life of disinfectants.
