Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Licensed Nursing Assistant or Surgical Technician Certification required.
• BLS certification preferred or to be obtained within 30 days of hire.
• Experience in an Endoscopy setting preferred.
• Familiarity with EPIC and Microsoft Office preferred.

Aufgaben

• Facilitates throughput of patients during admission, procedure, and recovery phases.
• Assists endoscopist with diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
• Turns over procedure rooms and admission/recovery areas.
• Maintains sterile settings and cleans scopes per guidelines.
• Documents procedures and supplies usage.
• Monitors equipment shelf life and availability of supplies.
• Communicates with patients, families, and staff.
• Provides backup support for front office as needed.
