St. Charles Campus of Good Samaritan University Hospital, part of Catholic Health, is seeking an Endoscopy Technician to assist physicians and nurses in endoscopic procedures and provide high-quality patient care in Port Jefferson, NY.

Responsibilities include coordinating scheduling, ensuring equipment readiness, and collaborating with the care team to improve patient outcomes and satisfaction. Prior endoscopy experience and a CNA certification are preferred, with required BLS certification.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of Nursing Assistant experience in acute care.
• 1-2 years of Endoscopy experience preferred.
• Education: High School Diploma or GED.
• Certification in Endoscopic procedures within 1 year; BLS certification required.

Responsabilités

• Assist physician and nursing staff in endoscopic procedures.
• Provide general patient care for optimal health care.
• Document and report data to appropriate staff.
• Coordinate scheduling and registration of endoscopic procedures.
• Demonstrate cleaning and maintenance of endoscopy equipment.
• Collaborate with physicians and staff to meet patient needs.
