Job summary

St. Francis Hospital, The Heart Center® in New York is seeking an Endoscopy Technician to prepare, maintain, and operate specialized endoscopic equipment while assisting physicians and nurses during procedures.

If you hold a CET, BLS, and have 1–2 years in healthcare with strong infection-control knowledge and terminology, you may be a fit for this on-site role with variable shifts including evenings, weekends, holidays, and on-call hours.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• CET credential is REQUIRED.
• BLS certification from American Heart Association.
• 1–2 years healthcare experience preferred.
• Knowledge of infection control and medical terminology; ability to stand for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Set up, sterilize, and troubleshoot endoscopes.
• Pass instruments during procedures (e.g., colonoscopies).
• Handle pathology specimens, monitor patient vitals, and clean/restock suites after procedures.

Schedule
