Job summary

Liberty Endoscopy Center is hiring a full-time Endoscopy Technician to support the endoscopy team in a busy outpatient facility. Responsibilities include preparing sterile setups, assisting during procedures, moving patients, and maintaining an organized supply area under RN direction.

The role emphasizes patient safety, accurate handoffs, good communication, and ongoing education to improve care quality. A comprehensive benefits package is offered to eligible staff.

Qualifications

• Experience assisting endoscopy team during procedures.
• Maintain sterile setup and supply inventory.
• Prepare and move patients and clean procedure room.
• Report patient status to RN and ASC Director.

Responsibilities

• Perform nursing duties consistent with the state practices and facility policies.
• Demonstrate nursing theory and practice to care for patients.
• Monitor patient progress and respond to status changes to ensure comfort and safety.
• Assist physicians and healthcare professionals, providing thorough procedure reports.
• Communicate clearly with staff, patients, and families, in writing and verbally.
• Pursue ongoing education to broaden knowledge of age groups and best practices.
• Collaborate with Infection Control to prevent infections.
• Support continuous quality and service improvement.
• May perform other tasks as assigned.
