Job summary

St. Catherine of Siena Hospital, part of Catholic Health, is seeking an Endoscopy Technician to join our care team on Long Island.

The role involves participating in patient-focused care and performing technical procedures in alignment with hospital policies to promote healing and well-being across the lifespan. Required qualifications include a high school diploma or GED; NYS Nursing Assistant certification is preferred, with at least 1 year of acute care experience and Endoscopy experience

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent is required.
• NYS Nursing Assistant certification is preferred.
• Minimum 1 year experience as a Nursing Assistant in an acute care facility preferred.
• Experience in Endoscopy field required.

Responsibilities

• Participates in patient-focused team approach of providing direct and collaborative health care in a variety of clinical settings designed to promote and restore optimal health across the life span.
• Performs a variety of technical procedures and activities relating to patient care in accordance with established policies and procedures.
