Job summary

Orlando Health Lake Mary Hospital is seeking an Endoscopy Tech to assist physicians with endoscopic examinations in a part-time role. The position supports specimen handling, equipment prep, and maintaining a clean, compliant procedure area within the LMH Endoscopy department.

The role requires a high school diploma and at least one year of clinical experience, plus current BLS/Healthcare Provider certification. Strong attention to safety and teamwork is essential.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assists physicians with endoscopic examinations.
• Labels and sends specimens to proper department/location for analysis.
• Communicates information regarding patient status, equipment, or unit concerns to healthcare workers.
• Prepares procedure area and equipment for procedures.
• Maintains, cleans, and stores endoscopic equipment and supplies.
• Reprocesses flexible endoscopes according to policy.
• Transports items, equipment, and medications throughout the facility.
• Maintains regular attendance and compliance with Orlando Health policies.
• Attends department staff meetings and participates in ongoing education.
