Job summary

Beth Israel Lahey Health in Beverly, MA is seeking an Endoscopy Support Technician to assist physicians and RNs during Endoscopy procedures, reprocess instruments, and maintain a clean, safe environment.

Under RN supervision, you will perform basic patient care tasks, monitor vital signs, document procedures, and stock supplies for the Endoscopy suite. This role emphasizes infection control, safety, teamwork, and readiness for EGD, colonoscopy, biopsies and related care.

Qualifications

• Education: High School diploma or equivalent.
• Licensure: None required.
• Experience: None required.

Responsibilities

• Cares for patients as delegated by the registered nurse and completes all aspects of care for the assigned patients.
• Reprocesses endoscopes according to infection control and Lahey Clinic guidelines.
• Assists during Endoscopy procedures and handles equipment properly.
• Maintains accurate documentation for cleaning/testing of equipment and supplies.
• Stock Pyxis Patient Station and communicates equipment issues to leadership.
