Job summary

Qualifications

• CNA responsibilities and knowledge.
• Ability to stand for prolonged periods, lift, carry and push heavy objects up to 50 lbs.
• Knowledge of infection control, cleaning and disinfection protocols.
• Demonstrate ability to work independently and as a team member.

Responsibilities

• Provides patient care and technological expertise during endoscopic procedures, as delegated and under physician direction.
• Prepares the procedure area with all diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopy supplies and equipment.
• Assesses the condition of all equipment and ensures safety and readiness for patient care.
• Documents patient and procedure information, completes electronic records promptly.
• Follows infection control protocols and PPE usage during procedures and processing.
• Participates in continuous improvement initiatives and hospital programs.
