Job summary

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• Experience in endoscopy or healthcare setting preferred.
• Ability to follow infection control policies and assist during procedures.

Responsibilities

• Cares for patients as delegated by the RN and completes care tasks.
• Reprocesses endoscopes according to infection control guidelines.
• Assists physicians and RNs during endoscopy procedures (EGD, colonoscopy, biopsies, etc.).
• Maintains equipment in working order and documents tests and cleaning.
• Stocks supplies and prepares procedure rooms for next case.
