Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Completion of an Endoscopy Technician certification program preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.

Responsibilities

• Function as Endoscopy Technician during gastroenterology procedures, working directly with the Physician and circulating nurse.
• Prepare procedure room by reviewing updated schedule and assisting in patient positioning.
• Maintain sterile environment and aseptic techniques to prevent infection.
• Assist physicians and anesthesia staff during surgical procedures as needed.
• Operate scope processor and manage anesthesia supplies as required.
