Job summary

Mass General Brigham is seeking an Endoscopy Support Technician at Newton-Wellesley Hospital to assist in operations in the endoscopic setting. You will help set up the operating room, transport patients, pass instruments to surgeons, and ensure all endoscope equipment is functioning before procedures begin.

Qualified candidates will have an Associate's Degree in Surgical Technology or related field, BLS certification, and 1–2 years of endoscopy/surgical experience.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in Surgical Technology or related field required.
• BLS Certification or higher credentials preferred.
• Endoscopy and operating room support experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in endoscopic procedures and maintain sterile technique.
• Set up operating room and prep patients for surgery.
• Pass instruments to surgeons and assistants; count sponges and needles.
• Ensure endoscope equipment is clean, functional, and tested before use.
