UCHealth University of Colorado Health in Greeley, CO is seeking an Endoscopy Support Technician to provide technical support for diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopic procedures. This onsite PRN role shifts Days, with pay between $19.67 and $25.57 per hour, dependent on experience.

You will assist physicians and nurses, process specimens, prepare and sterilize endoscopy equipment, and maintain the GI area.

Qualifications

• Education: High School diploma or GED.
• BLS Healthcare Provider certification required.
• Minimum Experience: None Required.

Responsibilities

• Assists physicians and nurses with performing procedures and providing patient care.
• Processes tissue and bodily fluids specimens.
• Prepares and maintains endoscopy equipment and supplies. Performs endoscope sterilization and processing.
• Maintains the GI procedure area in a clean, safe condition. Ensures necessary equipment and supplies are available for procedures.
• Within scope of job, requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgement and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
