Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN is seeking an Endoscopy Technician II to assist with GI procedures, prepare equipment, and support the recovery area. Under physician or nurse supervision, you will assist with colonoscopies and upper endoscopies, and perform endoscope reprocessing.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1+ year Endoscopy Technician I experience or 2+ years direct patient care.
• Knowledge of electronic applications.
• Knowledge of GI endoscopy equipment and procedures.
• BCLS certification within 60 days of hire.

Responsabilités

• Assist with direct patient care during GI procedures.
• Prepare and handle endoscopy equipment used during colonoscopies and upper endoscopies.
• Reprocess endoscopes and maintain high-level disinfection.
• Support recovery room and other duties outside the procedure room.
• Maintain competency in reprocessing and infection control.
