Mayo Clinic is seeking an Endoscopy Technician II to provide patient care and assist with equipment in the GI procedure rooms. You will support physicians during colonoscopies and upper endoscopies, and help in recovery and endoscope reprocessing areas.

Responsibilities include maintaining competency in endoscope disinfection, adhering to procedures, and working flexibly to meet unit needs. High reliability and strong communication are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills and teamwork are essential for the Endoscopy Technician II role.
• Multi-tasking and the ability to follow instructions in a dynamic GI lab setting are required.
• BCLS certification within 60 days of hire and ongoing competency in endoscopy-related procedures are expected.

Responsibilities

• Assist with patient care during GI procedures and support equipment needs.
• Work across endoscopy rooms, recovery, and endoscope reprocessing areas.
• Maintain competency in reprocessing and adapt to changing assignments in a fast-paced environment.
