Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Graduated from an accredited Surgical Technology program.
• BLS certification required from recognized body.

Responsibilities

• Assist with endoscopy procedures under RN supervision.
• Ensure proper handling, cleaning and sterilization of endoscopy equipment.
• Perform safety checks and maintain equipment maintenance records.
• Maintain inventory and stock levels in decontamination and procedure areas.
• Assist with patient transport and preparation for procedures as directed.
• Adhere to infection control standards and SGNA/AAMI guidelines.
