Barnes-Jewish West County Hospital seeks an Endoscopy Tech I to join a fast-paced team for mainly daytime hours. You will disinfect, assist with procedures, and help with patient transport and room prep under RN/physician supervision.

No prior endoscopy experience is required, but a dependable team player with transferables from healthcare roles is valued. Training and growth opportunities are highlighted within the department.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Endoscopy Technician experience is preferred, but not required.
• Candidate should be a dependable team player in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Processes instruments and equipment, orders and keeps inventory of supplies, and maintains equipment.
• Maintains database for endoscopy, and keeps accurate statistics pertinent to endoscopy.
• Transports patients and assists patients with changing.
• Trains staff in areas specific to endoscopy instrument processing, supplies and the maintenance of equipment.
