Memorial Edwardsville is seeking an Endoscopy Technician to join the GI Lab under RN and physician supervision. The role involves preparing the room, handling instruments, transporting patients, and supporting endoscopy procedures with state-of-the-art technology. Day shift with a 6am–9am start time flex; located at Memorial Edwardsville, part of the BJC HealthCare system. No prior experience required, with preferred <2 years in related settings.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• No prior experience required.
• Preferred: &lt;2 years of experience.

Responsibilities

• Processes instruments and equipment, orders and keeps inventory of supplies, and maintains equipment.
• Maintains database for endoscopy, and keeps accurate statistics pertinent to endoscopy.
• Transports patients and assists patients with changing.
• Trains staff in areas specific to endoscopy instrument processing, supplies and the maintenance of equipment.
