Advanced Endoscopy Center is recruiting a Full Time GI Tech to join our outpatient GI center. You will work with highly trained physicians diagnosing GI conditions and provide clear patient consultations, ensuring the best possible care.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Medical assistant certification.
• Certification in Operating Room Technology a plus.
• 1–3 years previous experience in GI Lab or Pain Management required.
• Current BLS required.
• ACLS preferred.
• Knowledge of policies and procedures specific to the OR and GI.
• Strong Customer Service Skills.
• Must be able to lift 25 pounds.
• English language proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Render professional care to patients undergoing GI and PAIN management procedures within the surgical center.
• Prepare equipment and anticipate Physician and patient needs for GI procedures.
• Oversees the GI procedures and maintains all aspects of the GI procedure area.
• Assessing patients prior to procedure. Document intra-procedure notes.
• Assist physician on all GI procedures.
• Cleans and maintains equipment per Center policy.
